What you will do

• Investigate first-party physical damage and third-party liability claims to determine coverage and damages.
• Conduct interviews with claimants, insureds, and witnesses while reviewing accident reports and repair estimates.
• Analyze policy provisions and evaluate bodily injury and property damage exposure.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys to resolve files efficiently.
• Manage the full claim lifecycle, including establishing reserves and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Identify subrogation and risk transfer opportunities for referral to the specialized unit.

Requirements

• Claims adjusting licenses required for the jurisdiction of Florida.
• Knowledge of Florida Sovereign Immunity law.
• 2 years of experience in first-party physical damage, automobile liability, or commercial general liability (CGL).
• Strong investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a high volume of claims while maintaining quality standards.
