What you will do

• Adjudicate and resolve low to moderate professional liability claims, including litigated matters.
• Draft coverage letters, including reservation of rights and denial letters, with minimal supervision.
• Manage defense counsel and negotiate settlements for claims of moderate complexity.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify emerging exposure trends and suspected fraudulent claims in coordination with the Special Investigations Unit.
• Engage directly with insureds, brokers, and claimant attorneys to provide superior customer service.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of claims handling experience in Architects and Engineers or similar professional liability lines.
• Advanced knowledge of claims analysis, adjusting practices, and legal documentation standards.
• Active insurance adjuster’s license.
• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week in a designated office location.
