Senior Competitor Analyst (Power Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Perform physical teardowns of competitor MOSFET devices from package to wafer level using FIB, SEM, and X-ray Failure Analysis techniques.
• Coordinate electrical performance benchmarking of competitor products against hirify.global devices.
• Develop, calibrate, and refine competitor cost models and provide technology cost estimates.
• Deliver technical data, reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to R&D, Marketing, and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor MOSFET technology trends, competitor activity, and contribute to benchmark reviews and DeepDive sessions.
• Oversee the physical analysis pipeline, including third-party laboratories, and improve its throughput and efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience in the semiconductor industry or a similar field.
• Advanced knowledge of Failure Analysis techniques, including FIB, SEM, and X-ray.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, process flows, and manufacturing.
• Advanced statistical methods, modelling, and database management skills, with experience using Excel and Power BI for analysis, dashboards, and data visualisation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including presenting to peers and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Coding skills, such as Python.
• Understanding of the power semiconductor business, technologies, and product portfolios.
