Salary: $198,000–$264,000

What you will do

• Perform deep operational and technical reviews of active projects to identify gaps in design, construction, and commissioning.
• Assess critical infrastructure systems and operational handoff procedures against project requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and drive corrective action and recovery plans for high-risk or distressed infrastructure projects.
• Partner with Design, Construction, Operations, and Network Engineering teams to strengthen execution discipline.
• Review construction documentation, including MEP designs, RFIs, and submittals, to validate project readiness.
• Monitor project dependencies and critical path risks across large-scale data center build programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 15+ years of experience in data center design, construction, commissioning, or operational readiness.
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with export control regulations.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling, and UPS systems.
• Proven experience managing distressed or high-risk infrastructure projects and driving recovery strategies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, or commissioning-related certification.
• Experience supporting hyperscale, HPC, or AI-focused data center environments.
• Knowledge of industry standards including Uptime Institute, NFPA, ASHRAE, and IEEE.
