What you will do

• Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team delivering AI-powered help platform capabilities.
• Own technical strategy and roadmap planning for the Help AI Platform (HAIP) in partnership with Product, ML/AI, Data Science, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Build scalable backend systems, orchestration workflows, and platform infrastructure powering hirify.global Assistant and other AI help experiences.
• Drive experimentation, delivery, and operational excellence across AI-powered support capabilities.
• Set and champion engineering quality, platform reliability, governance, and evaluation standards across HAIP and AI Help Experience (AIHX).
• Collaborate with teams across User Voice, Generative AI, Ecosystems, and Product Platform to expand HAIP capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience leading backend, platform, or AI/ML engineering teams in high-scale environments.
• Strong technical depth in backend systems, distributed architectures, and/or platform engineering.
• Interest in AI and LLM-powered products, with curiosity about applying emerging technologies to real user problems.
• Ability to balance platform thinking (scalability, reliability, governance) with product thinking (user outcomes and business impact).
• Comfort partnering with Product Managers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategy and execution.
• Excellent communication skills and a focus on inclusive, psychologically safe, high-performing engineering culture.
