TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (OutSystems): Building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications within the OutSystems ecosystem with an accent on integration patterns, performance optimization, and cloud-based architecture. Focus on designing scalable solutions, managing the full software development lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality insurance technology products.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Boston or Atlanta (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office)
Salary: $125,000–$165,000

What you will do
- Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform.
- Implement integration patterns including REST, SOAP, and API management.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and technology partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support code deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of applications.
- Enforce coding standards, design best practices, and maintain technical documentation.
- Work with QA and UAT teams to resolve bugs and ensure product quality.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to commute to Boston or Atlanta.
- Hands-on experience across the full OutSystems development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in extending OutSystems with custom C# code and RESTful services.
- Solid understanding of Azure services (App Service, Functions, Key Vault).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion.
Nice to have
- Experience with frontend application design.
- Knowledge of API Management platforms.
- Experience with cloud serverless applications.
- Background in mobile or hybrid application development.
- Experience in the insurance industry.
