What you will do

• Manage engineering consultants and EPC contractors to develop construction drawings and technical materials.
• Perform technical due diligence and design reviews for utility-scale PV and BESS systems.
• Develop scopes of work, technical contract exhibits, and procurement specifications.
• Provide technical support during construction, including RFI responses and quality control checks.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and SMEs to optimize system reliability and cost-efficiency.
• Support commissioning activities and resolve technical issues at operating sites.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in energy system design, project development, or construction.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in electrical design, including 1-line/3-line diagrams, NEC sizing, and short circuit analysis.
• Experience with medium voltage collector system design and stormwater/grading permitting.
• Strong communication skills and experience managing third-party vendors.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in engineering or PE/EIT qualifications.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, PVsyst, or AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of wind, green hydrogen, or hydroelectric technologies.
• NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification.
• Fluency in Spanish.
