What you will do

  • Perform comprehensive investigations on MOSFET devices using electrical characterization, microscopy, and cross-sectioning techniques.
  • Identify failure mechanisms such as EOS/ESD, process defects, and application-driven stress.
  • Translate complex analytical results into structured, scientifically defensible reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to 8D and RCA activities to support continuous improvement in design and manufacturing.
  • Collaborate across Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, and Customer Engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to laboratory capability development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or Microelectronics.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, specifically Power MOSFETs.
  • Experience or academic exposure to failure analysis, reliability engineering, or semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.
  • Structured problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Confidence working in cross-functional, multicultural environments.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on FA experience with power semiconductor devices.
  • Familiarity with reliability stress standards and application-driven failure modes.
