Senior PCB Design Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Edinburgh, UK; remote work is not available

What you will do

• Perform layout and verification of provided schematics and PCB layouts.
• Manage external PCB manufacturing and assembly, including quotation requests and purchasing workflows.
• Organize PCB layout review meetings with Applications, Quality, and Design functions.
• Support component library development for internal PCB design tools.
• Check technical drawings for compatibility with tester, prober, and handler production setups.
• Track project status, escalate schedule deviations and technical issues, and manage supplier quality actions and KPIs.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Electronics or equivalent education.
• Experience with complex mixed-signal, multilayer PCBs.
• Strong knowledge of modern PCB design, manufacturing processes, and assembly technologies.
• Experience with automated test equipment and hardware verification tools.
• Advanced organizational skills and experience working in international, cross-functional environments.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including effective communication with vendors and internal customers.
