What you will do

• Lead functional analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into specifications
• Drive the identification and definition of Verification and Validation (V&V) strategies for product development
• Lead system and subsystem-level integration and testing, including anomaly investigations
• Develop and maintain models and simulation tools to support growth and prototyping
• Manage customer engagement for new business opportunities using model-based design
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Engineering
• Proven expertise in performance analysis using Simulink, V&V, and subsystem integration
• Deep knowledge of hydraulic systems and classical control theory
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
• Demonstrated success in conducting failure analysis and corrective actions

Nice to have

• Familiarity with servovalve design
