Lead Systems Analysis Engineer/ Principal Engineer (Electrohydraulic and Electromechanical Systems): Leading the development of components and systems for motorsport and high-performance vehicles with an accent on requirements definition, model-based design, simulation, verification, and validation. Focus on subsystem integration and testing, hydraulic systems and control theory, failure analysis, and developing simulation and sizing tools.

What you will do

  • Lead functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into component specifications.
  • Define verification and validation strategies for product and system development programs.
  • Lead system and subsystem integration, customer collaboration, testing, and anomaly investigations.
  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate models, simulations, and sizing tools for customer prototyping and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Prepare technical reports covering design decisions and analysis results.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while coordinating cross-functional engineering efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive engineering experience.
  • Expertise in performance analysis using MATLAB/Simulink, verification and validation, subsystem integration, and technical leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in hydraulic systems and classical control theory.
  • Experience developing simulation or sizing tools, conducting failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong capabilities in strategic working relationships, planning and organizing, and customer focus.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with servovalve design.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
