What you will do

  • Act as the first point of contact for applicants via phone, email, and post.
  • Process emergency payment and individual assistance grant applications.
  • Perform eligibility checks and verify information against set criteria.
  • Maintain accurate data records within the DAF system.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence professionally.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet service targets and maintain high standards.

Requirements

  • Must be a Welsh language speaker (conversational level).
  • Must have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong attention to detail for data recording and eligibility verification.
  • Professional communication skills in both English and Welsh.
  • Willingness to undergo vetting and DBS checks.
