TL;DR

Senior Account Executive (LATAM): Driving sales of mainframe modernization and enterprise software solutions to Global 1000 clients in the LATAM region with an accent on consultative solution selling and building long-term strategic partnerships. Focus on prospecting, managing complex multi-year subscription deals, and aligning company capabilities with client business and IT priorities.

Location: Must be based in Mexico (Remote with 50% travel required).

What you will do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share for AMC Enterprise solutions.
  • Proactively prospect and lead weekly meetings with new and existing clients across the LATAM region.
  • Collaborate with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Microsoft) and alliance partners to drive revenue.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, including multi-year subscription and perpetual license agreements.
  • Utilize Salesforce to accurately forecast business and track pipeline growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer IT and business leaders to shape opportunities early in the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in solution software sales to Global 1000 clients.
  • Strong understanding of Mainframe Technology and Mainframe Modernization selling.
  • Must be based in Mexico with the ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex transactions with quotas exceeding $2M.
  • Deep knowledge of the LATAM market and existing professional network in the region.
  • Proficiency in consultative selling and building effective business cases.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft cloud ecosystems.
  • Established relationships with key decision-makers in the LATAM enterprise sector.
