TL;DR

People Solutions Generalist (HR): Supporting the employee experience and People team operations with an accent on global mobility, immigration management, and process improvement. Focus on collaborating cross-functionally to drive People team initiatives and ensuring operational excellence within the AMER region.

Location: Must be based in Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Salary: $37,500–$59,000 (for the 6-month contract duration)

What you will do

  • Support company-wide initiatives including engagement surveys and performance review cycles.
  • Manage complex global mobility and immigration cases, ensuring legal compliance and smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with Employer of Record partners to support company expansion plans.
  • Identify and implement improvements to operations and service delivery within the Shared Services model.
  • Provide support for employment-related inquiries regarding benefits, leave, and policies via ticketing systems.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and functional teams to execute ad hoc projects and business goals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Professional maturity and discretion when handling sensitive employee data.
  • Proficiency in project management and analytical reporting.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage priorities independently.
  • Must be based in Chicago for hybrid office requirements.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience working with HRIS platforms, specifically Workday.
