Senior HR Business Partner

Location: Remote in Canada

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually

What you will do

• Align HR initiatives and people strategies with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, attraction, and retention initiatives.
• Advise leaders on team structures, role design, reporting lines, organizational design, and change management.
• Guide managers and teams through goal setting, feedback, calibration, performance reviews, and engagement action planning.
• Handle employee queries and concerns, document employee relations matters, and escalate complex issues.
• Use HR metrics such as attrition, time-to-fill, and talent flow to provide actionable insights, while coaching leaders and supporting leadership communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in an HRBP or generalist role, preferably in a matrix or global organization.
• Hands-on experience with talent management, employee engagement, and performance frameworks.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially and professionally.
• Analytical, data-driven approach and proficiency with HR systems and tools.
