Salary: $123,000–$158,000 CAD annually plus discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the development team on assigned projects, coordinating activities to meet deliverable dates.
• Analyze business requirements and establish project estimates in collaboration with technical resources.
• Oversee system design, development, deployment, code review, and integration.
• Ensure application designs are efficient, effective, and meet corporate quality standards.
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Collaborate with management to ensure continuous application support and process improvement.

Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of IT experience with Progress, relational databases, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid experience with the full software development life cycle and API development.
• Excellent technical skills including Linux.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge and experience in developing applications for the mutual fund or investment industry.
