TL;DR

People Systems Manager (Workday): Lead the development and operation of Robinhood’s HR and Payroll systems, with an accent on Workday configuration, integrations, and scalable solution design. Focus on hands-on technical leadership, managing a distributed team, and ensuring data quality, security, privacy, and compliance while supporting global expansion and M&A.

Location: Toronto, Canada (in-person attendance expected at least 5 days per week)

Salary: $144,500 - $170,000 CAD (base pay range for Toronto, ON)

What you will do

  • Lead and evolve core People Systems with a strong focus on Workday across functional and technical domains.
  • Drive configuration, integrations, and solution design while guiding execution across the team.
  • Manage and develop a distributed team of full-time employees and contractors.
  • Partner with HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Finance, and Engineering to deliver scalable and reliable People systems.
  • Design, build, and maintain People tech stack integrations, with deep ownership of EIB-based integrations and preferred use of Workday Studio.
  • Support Workday enhancements, worker/vendor system implementations, Workday Extend investments, and change management; uphold data quality, security, privacy, and compliance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive People Systems or HRIS experience, including 2+ years in people management.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with strong expertise in Core HCM.
  • Proven Workday integration experience, including EIBs (required) and Workday Studio (strongly preferred).
  • Experience with recruiting tools such as Greenhouse and/or Ashby.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
