What you will do

• Lead engineering oversight for gas supply pipelines, regulator stations, and fuel gas distribution systems.
• Review and approve design deliverables from EPC partners for compliance with 49 CFR 192 and ASME B31.8 standards.
• Drive route selection, hydraulic analyses, and integrity management planning.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including welding procedures, NDT, and commissioning.
• Manage relationships with midstream operators and ensure regulatory compliance with PHMSA and DOT.
• Develop operating procedures, emergency response plans, and SCADA integration.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in natural gas pipeline engineering, construction, or operations.
• PE license (Mechanical or Chemical) strongly preferred.
• Deep working knowledge of 49 CFR 192, ASME B31.8, API standards, and PHMSA enforcement.
• Proven ability to manage EPC contractors and outside engineering on aggressive schedules.
• Must be based in Houston, TX with willingness to travel to Mason County, WV.

Nice to have

• Experience with Appalachian Basin infrastructure (Marcellus/Utica, TETCO, Columbia, Rover, REX).
