Land Acquisition Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA

Compensation: $200,000 – $238,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Source and secure powered land and brownfield sites capable of delivering hundreds of megawatts to gigawatts of capacity.
• Negotiate land purchase, lease, and option agreements with landowners, developers, and utilities.
• Perform technical diligence on power availability, interconnection queue positions, and substation proximity.
• Manage a multi-site pipeline, prioritizing high-potential opportunities and rapidly disqualifying weak sites.
• Hand off secured sites to development and construction teams with clean titles and proven power paths.

Requirements

• Proven experience sourcing and closing land or site acquisitions where power availability was a critical constraint.
• Direct experience negotiating purchase, lease, and option agreements with landowners and utilities.
• Ability to interpret interconnection queues, utility capacity maps, and substation studies.
• Expertise in end-to-end land diligence, including title, zoning, environmental, and power path analysis.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in datacenter, industrial, or large-scale energy site acquisition.
• Knowledge of utility interconnection and power markets.
• Background in brownfield or greenfield development.
