What you will do

• Own and manage a high-volume, high-value contract pipeline of 40–100 concurrent agreements across North America.
• Lead the drafting and negotiation of complex MSAs, SOWs, and renewals while ensuring financial and operational alignment.
• Establish governance frameworks for contract approvals, risk escalation, and deviation management.
• Drive the digital transformation of the contracts function by implementing AI-assisted drafting, automated risk flagging, and CLM platforms.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with proposal assumptions and delivery plans.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, shifting the focus from administrative execution to strategic contract advisory.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US or Canada without employer sponsorship.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in contracts management, legal operations, or commercial negotiations.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex, multi-year contracts in utilities, public agencies, or government sectors.
• Strong leadership experience managing and developing professional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must reside in the United States or the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.

• Experience with AI-enabled contracting tools or CLM platforms.
• Background in energy efficiency, clean energy, or infrastructure industries.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or enterprise opportunity tracking systems.
