Salary: $164,000 – $264,000 annually (varies by location).

What you will do

• Draft and negotiate complex SaaS, enterprise license, and API integration agreements.
• Lead legal strategy for U.S. federal government prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Advise on FAR/DFARS compliance, data rights, and government procurement regulations.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to align licensing models with commercial objectives.
• Develop standardized contract templates, playbooks, and AI-enabled contracting workflows.
• Provide business-focused legal guidance to Sales, Finance, and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Colorado or Virginia (or eligible for admission).
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience in software licensing and federal contracting.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contracting requirements.
• Deep expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance and commercial software transactions.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience advising on export controls and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled legal operations tools.
