People Systems Manager (Workday/AI)

What you will do

• Own and evolve core People Systems using Workday, driving configuration, integrations, and architectural decisions.
• Lead a technical team of engineers and analysts as a hands-on manager, writing and reviewing code alongside the team.
• Design and build AI-powered automations and agents to reduce manual HR operations and enhance the employee experience.
• Build and maintain integrations across the People tech stack, specifically utilizing EIB and Workday Studio.
• Establish an AI-first People Systems roadmap and support international growth and M&A activities.
• Ensure high standards for data quality, security, privacy, and compliance across all systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of People Systems or HRIS experience, including 2+ years managing technical teams.
• 4+ years of hands-on Workday experience across Core HCM, integrations, and Extend.
• Proven track record of using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and building LLM-powered workflows.
• Deep expertise in building Workday integrations; EIB is required.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse and/or Ashby.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Menlo Park, CA.
