What you will do
- Acquire new tax-free merchants through proactive sales activities and contract negotiations.
- Develop and expand the company's presence within the drugstore and specialty retail industries.
- Manage the end-to-end merchant onboarding process until the tax-free service is successfully launched.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT and sales support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide guidance and instructions to junior account managers to improve merchant satisfaction and sales performance.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of all account activities within Salesforce.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Large Account or Sales Management.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle and excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Understanding of inbound business operations.
Nice to have
- Experience with retail solutions such as POS, payment services, or IT service integration.
- Extensive personal networks within the Japanese drugstore or retail sectors.
- Proficiency in English.
