What you will do

• Test and validate wired networking protocols (e.g., VLAN, STP, TCP/UDP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, SPBM) or enterprise wireless LAN functionality.
• Verify network security concepts and services such as AAA, 802.1X, VPN, Captive Portal, IPsec, and firewalls.
• Validate infrastructure services including DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, LDAP, SSH, and Certificate Authorities.
• Test cloud platforms and cloud-native/distributed systems (microservices, APIs, service communication) including containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Use observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing) and perform strong root cause analysis across networking, application, OS, and cloud layers.
• Triaging, reproducing, and resolving complex customer/field issues in large-scale or production environments, including using AI & automation tools for debugging and log analysis.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with wired networking protocols including VLAN, IP, STP, TCP/UDP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, SPBM or hands-on experience in Enterprise Wireless LAN testing and validation.
• Solid understanding of network security concepts: AAA, 802.1X, VPN, Captive Portal, IPsec, and firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure services: DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, LDAP, SSH, and Certificate Authorities.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus understanding of cloud-native/distributed systems.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud middleware such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Strong programming and debugging skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.

Salary: CAD 120,000–140,000 base compensation range (plus performance-based bonus and full benefits package)
