TL;DR

Senior Marketing Manager - Public Sector (B2B Marketing): Partner with Sales to design and execute segment-specific marketing events and programs for Public Sector accounts, with an accent on demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and account-based growth. Focus on building integrated ABM programs for strategic accounts, analyzing performance data to improve strategy, and aligning cross-functional teams to drive booking outcomes.

Location: US - Virginia (Hybrid: three days per week in the McLean, VA office)

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the AMS Public Sector sales team with accountability to pipeline creation targets.
  • Deliver a mix of tactics including in-person and virtual events, webcasts, conferences, hospitality, sales nurture emails, sales tools, and direct mail.
  • Plan and execute event strategies targeting key audiences within FED and SLED.
  • Design, execute, and scale integrated account-based marketing programs for strategic accounts, focusing on new logo acquisition and customer expansion.
  • Act as a liaison between marketing, field sales, and BDR teams to drive alignment, momentum, and follow-through across programs and lead generation.
  • Use reporting tools to analyze marketing performance and translate data into insights; collaborate with content teams and external agencies on public-sector-specific messaging and assets.

Requirements

  • US work authorization required; not eligible for employer-sponsored work visas.
  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in technology.
  • Experience leading marketing efforts in the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of demand generation, pipeline acceleration, campaign management, and account-based marketing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Comfortable traveling to events as necessary.
