What you will do

• Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
• Conduct DPIAs, LIAs, and TIAs while tracking mitigation efforts.
• Manage end-to-end Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
• Draft and negotiate customer and vendor Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
• Execute incident response runbooks and support breach reporting.
• Participate in Privacy by Design reviews within the SDLC/PLC.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active state bar membership.
• Minimum 4–8+ years of legal experience, with at least 3 years focused on data privacy.
• Strong familiarity with GDPR and CCPA.
• Demonstrated experience in operational privacy tasks like ROPA and DPIAs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• CIPP/E or CIPP/US certification.
• Familiarity with AI-related regulations such as the EU AI Act.
• Experience with intellectual property, licensing, or technology matters.
