TL;DR

Sales Development Lead: Leading a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to drive overall sales development performance with an accent on people leadership, lead qualification and conversion optimization. Salary: $100,000-110,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) with ongoing guidance, feedback, and coaching.
  • Implement sales development strategies and processes to improve lead qualification, conversion rates, and team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align goals and ensure seamless lead handoff.
  • Analyze sales development performance metrics and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders across the Americas.
  • Conduct regular coaching and training sessions to enhance SDR skills and productivity.
  • Act as a liaison between the SDR team and other departments to maintain clear communication and alignment.

Requirements

  • Based in Chelmsford, MA (in-office role) with flexibility to work remotely one day
  • Strong sales acumen: identify and qualify leads, handle objections, and close deals.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
  • High emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, motivation) and strong communication skills.
  • 5+ years of sales/marketing experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience leading a team (must have)

Nice to have

  • Experience leading an SDR/BDR team.
  • Knowledge of sales development platforms such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
