TL;DR

Sales Development Flex Manager (Sales): Lead and develop outbound SDR teams while flexing across the Sales Development organization to cover manager absences and execute high-impact projects with an accent on cold calling, outbound sequencing/messaging, and pipeline production. Focus on coaching SDRs on activity and performance metrics, shaping outbound strategy, and recruiting/onboarding SDRs to drive measurable GTM results.

What you will do

  • Manage SDRs against objectives, activity metrics, and performance achievement through weekly 1:1 coaching and accountability.
  • Run outbound best practices for cold calling, sequencing, and messaging to generate pipeline.
  • Monitor lead processes and key metrics, shape SDR strategy and outbound processes, and report operational/financial KPIs to senior leadership.
  • Flex across teams for 1–6 month assignments to cover gaps, act as proxy for performance conversations/QBRs, and deliver transition/handoff documentation.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new SDRs to improve speed-to-ramp and long-term success.
  • Evaluate new sales enablement technologies and contribute to special projects advancing Sales Development and GTM.

Requirements

  • Direct experience as an SDR/BDR with applicable team lead or management experience.
  • Direct experience in a closing AE role for 12+ months.
  • Strong preference for 1+ years of sales management experience.
  • Outbound-specific cold-calling experience (not only inbound lead handling) and a track record of success in AE and leadership roles.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com is required.
  • US Remote role (must be able to work remotely from the United States).
