What you will do
- Act as domain and primary technical lead for Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll integrations.
- Define target-state architecture, integration patterns (Core Connectors, EIB, Studio, Extend), and Workday security models aligned to least-privilege principles.
- Translate complex pay rules and region-specific labor requirements into Workday configuration (time codes, accruals, eligibility rules, time calculations).
- Design PECI frameworks with effective-dated logic, retroactivity, error handling, and reconciliation processes; establish data quality and exception handling across HR/WFM/Payroll.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and global privacy/security standards (FLSA, GDPR, SOC, SOX as applicable) and implement controls for segregation of duties, approvals, retro events, and adjustments.
- Lead Workday release impact assessments, regression strategies, and feature adoption planning; maintain documentation and operational playbooks for releases and incident management.
Requirements
- 5β7+ years of Workday experience with strong expertise in Time Tracking, Absence Management, and multi-country Payroll PECI design.
- Hands-on experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, Calculated Fields, and Workday Security.
- Deep knowledge of effective-dated HR data, retro pay impacts, time valuation, accruals, and eligibility logic.
- Experience with release management, tenant lifecycle governance, and regression testing.
- Strong documentation skills, including solution designs, data mappings, and workflow diagrams.
