What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Java, Struts, WebSphere, and Tomcat.
• Analyze business and system requirements to create scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to the Agile SDLC, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Debug, review, and maintain existing systems to ensure performance and stability.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA professionals to deliver production-ready features.
• Apply best practices in code quality, version control, and continuous integration.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, Spring or Hibernate, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience working in an Agile SDLC environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Edgewood, NY.
• Proficiency in analyzing complex issues and delivering maintainable solutions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Experience with Oracle databases.
