Senior Analyst, Global Tech (I&G) (Fintech)

Annual base salary: $136,000–$190,500 USD

What you will do

• Lead fundamental research coverage of global technology companies across software, hardware, semiconductors, cloud, cybersecurity, digital services, and emerging technology.
• Build financial and operational models, valuation frameworks, and scenario analyses covering company performance, technology adoption, competitive positioning, and macro-technology trends.
• Develop actionable investment recommendations and identify mispriced securities and thematic opportunities across equity, credit, hybrids, and preferred securities.
• Monitor innovation cycles, regulatory changes, competitive dynamics, supply-chain shifts, and macroeconomic factors affecting technology markets.
• Partner with portfolio managers on investment strategy, position sizing, and risk management across global mandates.
• Present investment theses and risk assessments to the investment committee and defend the underlying financial and technology analysis.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in equity or credit research, investment management, investment banking, consulting, or corporate strategy focused on technology sectors.
• Deep understanding of technology business models, industry value chains, product economics, and sector-specific valuation methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to generate differentiated insights and a track record of successful investment recommendations.
• Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and critical-thinking skills, including comfort with complex datasets and technology-driven KPIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical and financial concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
• High integrity, intellectual curiosity, commitment to excellence, and passion for global technology trends and innovation.

Nice to have

• Experience covering U.S. or international technology companies.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS Finance, or MS Data/Tech, or a professional designation such as CFA.
