Strategic Financial Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Onsite in Pleasanton, California, Monday through Friday

Base annual salary: $110,000–$140,000; annual bonus up to 10%.

What you will do

• Own analyses supporting pricing, product investment, go-to-market, and capital allocation decisions.
• Build and maintain the core operating model, including EBITDA forecasting, churn analysis, unit economics, scenarios, and sensitivities.
• Turn ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and recommendations for senior leadership through concise memos or presentations.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations leaders to size opportunities and evaluate business outcomes.
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and recommended actions.
• Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for MRR, ARR, churn, transaction volume, payments revenue, and executive dashboards; improve reporting with Excel, Power BI, and/or AI.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical performance, ownership, structured problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to build rigorous analyses, communicate clearly in writing and to senior leadership, and collaborate effectively.
• Experience may come from strategy consulting, investment banking, equity research, private equity, corporate development, or strategy, finance, or operations teams at leading technology companies.
• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field is typical but not mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience improving reporting processes and using Excel, Power BI, and/or AI.
• For senior analysts: experience leading cross-functional workstreams, owning model architecture, and guiding how analyses are framed and presented.
