What you will do

• Collaborate with central teams to localize global systems for the Japanese market while meeting local quality standards.
• Formulate WBS, manage daily project progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Prepare detailed Business Requirement Specifications and design documentation.
• Execute and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate with central teams to resolve technical issues.
• Automate daily processes using Excel VBA to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

• Native Japanese language skills (oral & written)
• Fluent English language skills (oral & written)
• 7+ years of professional experience, with at least 4 years as an IT Project Manager.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java and C# (ability to review source code).
• Strong proficiency in Excel VBA is required.
• Experience in developing front-end solutions and multi-platform applications (Windows, iOS, Android).
• Must be able to work on-site in Tokyo.

Nice to have

• Project Management Certification (PMI, IPMA).
• Experience with payment systems or solutions.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems.
• Experience working in international or multicultural environments.
