Salary: $28.50–$34.21/hour plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on solar PV, BESS, and substation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair inverters, trackers, combiner boxes, and DC/AC collection systems.
• Implement switching and clearance orders to ensure safe operations.
• Operate electrical and mechanical power plant systems according to procedures.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and plant operating records.
• Assist with site vegetation management and general facility upkeep.

Requirements

• Must live in the general Lancaster/Mojave/Tehachapi area in California.
• Must have reliable personal transportation for daily site commute.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electrical systems and basic safety principles (LOTO, Electrical Safety).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures, climb ladders, and lift equipment.

Nice to have

• Technical degree or solar certification.
• Experience with SCADA and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Previous experience in solar system installation.
• Knowledge of control circuits and solid-state theory.
