TL;DR

Sales Engineer (Energy Storage): Leading technical aspects of the sales process for large-scale energy storage projects with an accent on system configuration, cost estimation, and contract negotiation. Focus on bridging the gap between customer requirements and internal product roadmaps to drive successful turn-key and equipment-only sales.

Location: Must be based in Arlington, VA, and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Provide technical support and product configuration guidance to sales teams for energy storage platforms.
  • Review and negotiate detailed technical specifications for core and BOP scope including MV, HV, and civil components.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates for new sales opportunities.
  • Lead technical contract negotiations regarding scope, schedule, and performance guarantees.
  • Capture customer technical requirements to inhirify.global and shape product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with internal groups including Product, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Project Execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
  • 3-10 years of work experience in energy storage, solar, or power generation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with contract negotiations and familiarity with key contract areas.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
