What you will do

• Perform quarterly financial statement analysis and assist in balance sheet reporting for leadership.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial information for statements, footnotes, and schedules.
• Support the Comcast SEC reporting team with quarterly and annual filings.
• Collaborate with business controllership teams on accounting standard implementations.
• Identify opportunities for greater transparency and efficiency in financial reporting processes.
• Participate in ad hoc projects including system implementations, AI initiatives, and due diligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting required.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and SEC accounting and disclosure standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Must be able to work from the New York, NY office four days per week.

Nice to have

• 1+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP and Analysis for Office (AOE).
• Internal or external financial reporting experience.
