Research Director (AI): Leading the global AI research practice and managing a team of analysts to drive strategic growth across syndicated and custom research products with an accent on quantitative forecasting and qualitative market insights. Location: Must be based in or near Boston, MA (Hybrid: 3+ days in-office) with remote flexibility.
Salary: $150,000 – $155,000

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a global team of analysts across APAC, EMEA, and North America.
- Drive the strategic evolution of the AI service area, including Advanced Compute and AI Applications.
- Produce high-quality research assets, including reports, trackers, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to showcase research capabilities and drive business development.
- Present research findings to senior industry executives and at major industry events.
- Build and maintain long-term trusted advisor relationships with key clients.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in market research or as an industry analyst.
- Strong understanding of the AI technology landscape and ability to form original, credible opinions.
- Proven team leadership experience with a focus on coaching and performance development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for synthesizing complex ideas and presenting to executives.
- Quantitative research proficiency, including building and maintaining market forecasts.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
