What you will do

• Develop and implement electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Install and provide technical support for PLC-based hardware and software.
• Program and install VFDs and other electronic machine components.
• Manage improvement projects for manufacturing line updates and installations.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve and maintain machine reliability.
• Document technical data for project planning and process improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of professional engineering experience or 1–3 years of specialized engineering experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and using electrical test equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across production, engineering, and management teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• Experience with automation platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Panasonic, Indramat, or Motoman.
• Manufacturing experience in wood processing environments (Panel Saws, Edgebanders, CNC, etc.).
• Project management experience.
