Project Developer (Renewable Energy)

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote/Hybrid in Louisville, CO).

Salary: $105,000–$131,325/year plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end development of renewable energy projects from site selection to execution readiness.
• Manage integrated project schedules, budgets, and risk registers to ensure timely milestone achievement.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs across interconnection, land, permitting, engineering, and commercial teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to CAISO interconnection, land constraints, and market considerations.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with landowners, utilities, CAISO, and permitting agencies.
• Represent the company in project meetings and negotiations to advance development strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental studies, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in renewable energy development or a related field.
• Strong understanding of interconnection, permitting, land, and project development processes.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify used).
• Experience with CAISO interconnection and California permitting processes is preferred.
• Experience developing solar, storage, or hybrid projects is preferred.
