What you will do
- Manage and direct a team of client service partners and sales professionals across multiple districts to achieve retention and profit goals.
- Create and execute growth and retention strategies, ensuring rigorous sales and service processes.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and clients to gain insights into business needs.
- Drive collaboration within the team and promote a client-first mentality across the organization.
- Hire, coach, and mentor sales and service staff, including field-based development.
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of successful account management experience, preferably in legal information, government affairs, or electronic information industries.
- Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience in customer success or sales.
- Proven experience with the full customer lifecycle, strategic selling, and sales methodology.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel out of town on a frequent basis.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or equivalent professional experience.
