Project Manager III (Contract)

Location: Atlanta, GA; hybrid schedule with 25% overnight travel by ground and air

Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year, contractor

What you will do

• Manage multiple complex client projects from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closeout.
• Build project plans, schedules, scopes of work, resource plans, and deployment timelines based on client contracts and requirements.
• Lead kickoffs, status meetings, closeout meetings, and communications with clients, vendors, cross-functional teams, and senior management.
• Control project scope, schedule, costs, risks, assumptions, constraints, and changes to keep deliveries on time and within budget.
• Monitor task completion, identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and maintain project documentation and status updates.
• Obtain client acceptance, measure satisfaction, transition completed projects to Client Success, and maintain lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience, including strategic planning, risk management, or change management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• Strong stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, client service, prioritization, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-stress, deadline-driven environment and communicate effectively with technical and public safety audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with Monday.com and NetSuite.
