Project Manager (Residential Construction)

Location: Los Angeles, CA; candidates must be based in Los Angeles

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, plus equity.

A technology-enabled residential construction company building and personalizing single-family homes online and supporting community recovery after natural disasters.

What you will do

• Manage all phases of up to 45 concurrent single-family home construction projects.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, procurement, scopes of work, plans, specifications, and project changes.
• Work with superintendents and trade partners to maintain construction quality, safety, schedule, and budget performance.
• Use proprietary project management software and maintain electronic project records, meeting notes, communications, and daily activity reviews.
• Inspect assigned projects weekly and approve trade partner invoices based on work completion and quality.
• Report project health and performance to the Director of Construction Operations and participate in client walks as required.

Requirements

• Must be based in Los Angeles, CA.
• 6+ years of experience in residential home construction as a Project Superintendent or Project Manager.
• Deep understanding of LADBS and Los Angeles County permitting, inspections, and certificate of occupancy processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent schedule management software.
• Valid driver’s license.
