TL;DR

Field Sales Engineer (Networking): Supporting sales growth initiatives by providing technical solutions and pre- and post-sales support for security and network systems with an accent on system design, troubleshooting, and customer collaboration. Focus on developing technical sales materials, conducting on-site proof of concepts, and managing complex project installations.

Location: Must be based in the Greater Phoenix Area, USA

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 (OTE)

What you will do

  • Provide pre-sales engineering support and develop system design recommendations.
  • Prepare technical sales materials, white papers, and RFPs.
  • Coordinate on-site proof of concept and trial installations.
  • Perform in-depth on-site troubleshooting and technical solutions support.
  • Present training seminars and webinars for internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers to support critical projects.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the Greater Phoenix Area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or comparable experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in networking or video-related systems.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, RESTful APIs, and network infrastructure.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Ability to work with heights and lift up to 40 lbs.
