TL;DR

Regional Sales Manager (Federal): Driving revenue growth within the US Federal government sector by selling advanced Network Security Analytics (NDR) solutions with an accent on identifying new opportunities and developing strategic partnerships. Focus on navigating the Federal procurement landscape and delivering tailored technical value propositions to senior government executives.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the USA to serve the Federal government sector)

Salary: $135,000 - $155,000 (50/50 split)

What you will do

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by acquiring new Federal accounts and expanding existing government customer installations.
  • Identify prospects through targeted cold calls, lead follow-up, and in-person meetings with Federal decision-makers.
  • Engage with senior government executives to understand mission-critical requirements, decision-making processes, and funding mechanisms.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of NDR and NPM solutions tailored to Federal challenges.
  • Collaborate with Federal resellers, field sales engineers, and management for lead generation and revenue forecasting.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to identify growth opportunities within the assigned Federal territory.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of technology sales experience with a proven track record in the Federal government market.
  • Minimum 3 years of dedicated security sales experience and understanding of Federal security requirements.
  • Proven ability to secure meetings and close complex deals with senior-level Federal executives.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise networking technologies (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Existing senior-level relationships at a wide range of Federal enterprise accounts within the assigned territory.
