TL;DR

Manager, National/Major Accounts (Telecommunications): Managing and expanding sales of fiber and optic cable products for key telecom accounts with an accent on strategic relationship management and multi-year agreements. Location: Remote (US), requires 75% domestic travel

Salary: $120,000 - 150,000 annually

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain strategic professional relationships with key decision makers in the telecom sector.
  • Create and implement sales plans to meet and exceed annual targets for the fiber product portfolio.
  • Manage contract proposals for existing customers and new corporate clients.
  • Research new markets and proactively recommend innovative business opportunities.
  • Report on sales, retention, revenue, and forecasting to leadership and finance.
  • Lead multi-tier sales channels, collaborating with regional teams and independent rep firms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience in telecommunications or communications networks.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a direct sales management position.
  • Proven negotiation skills for creating detailed, multi-year agreements with executive-level customers.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time on a domestic basis.
  • Extensive experience in the corporate market across the United States.

  • Experience with progressive sales automation systems and the use of corporate AI to improve productivity.
