What you will do
- Establish as a trusted advisor by engaging early in the buying journey and verifying problem specifications.
- Translate customer priorities into value-based, system-based solution proposals using a consultative approach.
- Develop complex cross-company solutions utilizing various brands to meet specific customer demands.
- Manage the sales funnel and execute selling strategies using SFDC, Account Plans, and Strategic Selling tools.
- Build robust account plans to identify growth opportunities and maximize share of wallet within existing customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Marketing, Product Development, and Finance.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US.
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a professional sales role.
- Proven track record of delivering sustained sales results in large accounts and end-user solution selling.
- Experience operating within a matrix environment and a medium to large international organization.
- Strong knowledge of sales fundamentals: funnel management, account planning, and negotiation.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25-50% as required.
Nice to have
- Experience in communications and networking projects.
- Knowledge of Lean tools.
- Experience with Miller Heiman Strategic Selling methodology.
