What you will do

• Define hardware architecture and identify key components for high-end wearable devices.
• Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts with HDI and EMC-compliant design.
• Contribute to design-for-manufacturing strategy for PCB-integrated systems in wearable glasses.
• Drive hardware bring-up and support test device development.
• Collaborate closely with mechanics, firmware developers, and optics to deliver the complete wearable product.

Requirements

• Completed degree or vocational training (TU/FH/HTL) in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in hardware development.
• Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Proven experience in HDI electronic circuit development and EMC-compliant design.
• Solid background in schematic design and component selection.
• Fluent English; basic knowledge of firmware and driver programming.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Altium Designer.
• Experience with high-speed, flex-PCB, or thermal management circuits.
• Experience with camera circuit design.
• Familiarity with certification processes, especially EMC validation.
• German language skills.
