What you will do

  • Design electrical schematics, power circuits, and PCB layouts for autonomous turret systems.
  • Develop real-time embedded software in C++ and Python for autonomous defense applications.
  • Perform signal integrity, thermal, and electromagnetic compatibility simulations and testing.
  • Integrate sensors, motors, actuators, electrical components, and mechanical systems for robotic platforms.
  • Test, debug, and optimize embedded hardware and software in laboratory and field environments.
  • Maintain design documentation, simulation results, test protocols, and validation reports.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical and firmware design, including schematic design, simulation, PCB layout, and embedded software.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with microcontroller-based control systems, power conversion, and motor drives.
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle, SPICE, or ANSYS Electronics.
  • Strong C++ experience for embedded systems and additional Python proficiency.
  • Experience developing real-time, safety-critical, robotic, and autonomous systems.

Nice to have

  • Thermal management and heat dissipation experience for high-power systems.
  • Embedded Linux, RTOS, and custom embedded kernel development experience.
  • Networking and robotics communication protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, UART, and I2C.
  • Experience optimizing low-latency software for strict power and computational constraints.
