What you will do
- Design electrical schematics, power circuits, and PCB layouts for autonomous turret systems.
- Develop real-time embedded software in C++ and Python for autonomous defense applications.
- Perform signal integrity, thermal, and electromagnetic compatibility simulations and testing.
- Integrate sensors, motors, actuators, electrical components, and mechanical systems for robotic platforms.
- Test, debug, and optimize embedded hardware and software in laboratory and field environments.
- Maintain design documentation, simulation results, test protocols, and validation reports.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in electrical and firmware design, including schematic design, simulation, PCB layout, and embedded software.
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with microcontroller-based control systems, power conversion, and motor drives.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle, SPICE, or ANSYS Electronics.
- Strong C++ experience for embedded systems and additional Python proficiency.
- Experience developing real-time, safety-critical, robotic, and autonomous systems.
Nice to have
- Thermal management and heat dissipation experience for high-power systems.
- Embedded Linux, RTOS, and custom embedded kernel development experience.
- Networking and robotics communication protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, UART, and I2C.
- Experience optimizing low-latency software for strict power and computational constraints.
