Senior Hardware Engineer (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Drive embedded computing system products from concept through production.
• Define hardware specifications and develop test plans.
• Capture schematics using OrCAD and provide PCB layout instructions.
• Collaborate with layout, mechanical, and signal integrity engineers to complete designs.
• Bring up systems and perform engineering validation using laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, customers, and procurement while managing multiple hardware builds.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hardware engineering experience.
• Hands-on board design experience, including schematic capture, PCB layout instructions, and signal integrity.
• Familiarity with Cadence OrCAD and Allegro.
• Knowledge of I2C, SMBUS, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe, DDR, display, and network interfaces.
• Experience with DC-DC step-down converter design, x86/Arm servers and subsystems, system bring-up, and product design validation.
• Strong debugging, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Linux and scripting languages.
