Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist

What you will do

• Administer EH&S programs covering government agencies and industry certifications.
• Support EH&S policy and procedure continuity across corporate and facility assignments.
• Collaborate on process changes that impact EH&S.
• Drive achievement of corporate and site environmental and safety goals through site-based assignments and corporate projects.
• Identify, communicate, and document regulatory requirements and compliance from shop floor to executive leadership.
• Maintain EH&S performance records, management system documentation, and provide leadership to EH&S committees and operational teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EH&S or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of professional EH&S experience, or 6–8 years in full-time EH&S responsibilities without a completed degree (depending on academic achievement).
• Experience with hazardous energy control, industrial hygiene, hazard communications, and environmental regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 14000 and ISO 45000.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and industry EH&S codes and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to train and develop trainers of EHS content.
