Salary: $99,000 - $141,500 USD

What you will do

  • Coordinate worker training on environmental regulations including HAZWOPER, DOT, and RCRA.
  • Investigate and report on compliance near-misses, facility inspections, and environmental testing.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, inspectors, and the local community.
  • Conduct internal and external audits of field projects, terminals, and treatment facilities.
  • Ensure maintenance of environmental licenses and permits for assigned sites.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to mitigate compliance risks and implement corporate procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of experience as a safety or environmental professional in CWA, CAA, or RCRA compliance.
  • Knowledge of Clean Water Act, SPCC, EPCRA, and RCRA requirements.
  • Ability to interpret complex environmental regulations and federal standards.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills for solving regulatory compliance issues.
  • Must be able to work onsite and occasionally wear a full-face respirator.
